International & Multicultural
The purpose of the Balkan Student Society is to culminate an inclusive community on campus by providing a comforting space for Michigan State students who share a common cultural heritage to form connections with one another. Our aim is to establish an on campus community for Balkan students to engage, connect, support, and share their traditions with each other and the entirety of Michigan State University. We hope to bridge the gap between different communities and promote intercultural dialogue and appreciation. Ultimately, we aspire to create a sense of belonging for Balkan students at Michigan State, while promoting multiculturalism and diversity on campus.
