The Michigan State University Biophysical Society (MSU-BPS) is a student chapter of the national Biophysical Society. Biophysics is an interdisciplinary field that applies the theories and methods of physics to understand how biological systems work, with a broad range of applications such as protein folding, drug design, imaging, and the development of novel biomaterials. At our club meetings, we host speakers, discuss hot topics in the field, hold club socials, and share research with other members of the MSU biophysics community. Biophysics is a wide and diverse field, so we hope to foster cross-disciplinary discussions here at Michigan State.
