Academic
The Black Graduate Student Association has been an integral part of the Michigan State University community for a number of years. Over the past 15 years, BGSA has integrated signature programming into serving Black graduate students and the community at large, including the annual Spring Gala and Research Symposium. Additionally, BGSA has consistently created a space for Black graduate students to engage in professional development, discuss issues, and build relationships with other graduate students across disciplines through monthly meetings.
