The Broad MBA Human Resources Association is so back! Do not confuse our club with simply being a Recruiter or confirming PTO benefits for employees. As you gain work experience, you will realize how much information flows through the Human Resources department - hybrid work policies, mergers & acquisitions, executive recruiting, and more. This club aims to focus on these broader, strategic aspects of organizations. We will explore company examples and walk through real-life scenarios while hearing from seasoned MSU alumni who can speak to current trends and lessons learned during their time in the workforce.When envisioning life after Business school, images of working on complicated stock options, pouring through financial statements, or pitching Mad Men style presentations come to mind. But none of these scenarios could exist without the strategic thinking of the Human Resources department. As you re-enter the workforce, what would make you pick one company over another?
