LGBT & Allies in Medicine at MSUCOM advocates for equality and acknowledging diversity in the medical community. To achieve this equality and recognition we will educate ourselves and our colleagues in LGBTQ+ issues as they relate to everyday life and the practice of medicine using expertise from the LGBTQ+ community and campus resources. Our goal is to assist in the development of competent physicians willing to serve and treat all people to the best of their ability. We welcome intersectionality, inclusivity and diversity for all to share and converse. Our club's mission is to educate and spread awareness about LGBT+ issues and disparities in medicine. Allies and those of the LGBT+ community are part of this mission.
