Mission Statement: The MSUCOM Public Health Association aims to foster relationships through community engagement, create volunteer opportunities to work with communities on public health projects, promote and provide opportunities for public health education both for students and community members, and advocate for health equity at the individual, community, systematic, and policy levels. Vision Statement: MSUCOM Public Health Association will work to supplement the traditional medical student experience with public health education, experiences, and resources that may then be applied to their future roles as physicians in an effort to work toward promoting the health of patients as it exists in and out of standard clinical environments.
