The MSU Driving Club originated in 2004 in response to an increased interest among students in draft horses and driving horses in general. The goals of the MSU Driving Club are to promote the driving of horses at MSU and in the community. We aspire to support and revive the heritage of draft horses through participation in community service with draft horses. We appreciate and try to build continued support for the MSU Draft Horse Endowment Fund.Club activities focus on draft horse driving at the MSU Horse Teaching and Research Facility and the Great Lakes International Draft Horse Show and Pull. Club members have hands-on opportunities with the MSU Draft Horses and volunteer opportunities within the draft horse industry.
