Elohist Bible Study Club
Spiritual & Religious
The purpose of this organization shall be: Elohist Bible study club is a non-denominational Christian Bible study club that focuses on the core teachings of the bible that Jesus established 2,000 years ago. “Elohist” means the one who believes in Elohim. Elohim is the Hebrew word used to refer to God over 2,500 times in the bible. However, the word is plural. We see this evident in the first chapter of the Bible in verse 26 where God [Elohim] says “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness”. The use of the plural words shows us that there is not only God the Father. God [Elohim] creating mankind, male and female, according to Their image, shows that there must be God of male image (God the Father) and God of female image (God the Mother).  Through the Bible studies & events, we want to explore and prove further the existence and importance of our spiritual Mother, as well as understand Christ’s work that he has been carrying out for mankind so that we can deeply realize God’s great love for mankind and put it into practice, even amongst our neighbors at Michigan State University.
