The purpose of this organization is to provide a meeting place for law students who are interested in pursuing legal careers that serve, advise, and advocate for family law matters. This organization will have resources which will assist in connecting students with legal professionals who work in several fields related to family law, such as domestic violence, divorce and marriage, and considerations for the best interests of the child. There may also be possible opportunities for information on alternative dispute resolution services like mediation and arbitration. The Family Law Society will host workshops, seminars, discussions, social events, and panels.
