Academic
Our purpose is to support and cultivate community among the MSU CHM first-gens in med. Our group identifies a student as First Gen in Med if they are a first-generation college graduate, first-generation medical student, and/or low-income. Our goal is to support and uplift our first-gen students while building equitable access to resources and mentorship. In doing so, we will encourage our future First Gen in Med physicians to lean on their strengths and perspectives to better the delivery of medicine.
