Our mission is to provide education towards the importance of oral health as it is very easily neglected in society but especially in a community like Lansing that acquires such a big homeless population. Along with education we are giving opportunities to fellow peers,dentists, and members of the community to help us fundraise so we are able to get the proper materials out to the underserved populations first.Next, we also want to show college students the effects that vaping and smoking has on your oral health, how it expedites tooth decay. Lastly, regardless if it is normal college students, adults, or homeless populations, bad oral health is directly related to lowering your mental health. This is another mission of the club to shine light on the connection between mental health and oral health.
