Impact 89FM is MSU's student-run radio station located in Holden Hall. We broadcast music, news and sports 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on 88.9FM in the Lansing area and online at impact89fm.org. Join our staff, where you can choose to learn how to be a DJ, cover MSU sporting events, report on the news, review new music, create audio and video content, and much more. The station has received the Michigan Association of Broadcasters College Radio Station of the Year award 18 times since the award was first given in 2000. Nationally, Impact 89FM was awarded with the College Media Association National College Radio Station of the Year for 2021 and the Associated Collegiate Press Online Pacemaker in 2024.
