Omega Chi Epsilon
Academic
Since the organization’s founding in 1931, Omega Chi Epsilon has recognized the academic merit and strong character of people in their junior or senior year of study in chemical engineering programs across the nation. To be considered for membership, juniors must rank in the upper 25% of their class and have a GPA of 3.25 or more. Seniors in the upper 33% must have a GPA of 3.0 or more to be eligible. They must also have completed at least one chemical engineering course. If you choose to join Omega Chi Epsilon, you will become part of an organization that stands for excellence in the field of chemical engineering. The Alpha Zeta chapter here at Michigan State University has participated in many activities. Our main event is tutoring for CHE 201 and CHE 210 students, but we also volunteer at various College of Engineering and STEM-related events.
