The Orthopedic Surgery Interest Group (OSIG) serves to provide medical students with the opportunity to learn more about the field of orthopedic surgery and its sub-specialties and to foster an interest in orthopedics by introducing students to the basics of orthopedics as well as providing further growth through exploration of the orthopedic residency application process and how to set up for future success in the first years of medical school. Our goal is to provide early exposure to orthopedics through education from practicing orthopedic surgeons, and through learning about the process of becoming strong residency applicants.
