USEBA at UCLA aims to connect and educate undergraduate students to careers in the media/entertainment and sports industries through professional panels and networking opportunities, as well as to help students foster relationships and build networks with each other. In line with the organization’s focus on the business aspect of the media/entertainment and sports industries, USEBA emphasizes the understanding of both industries as businesses above all else, and uses this understanding to feed into more specialized areas in its educational efforts. The organization also promotes a comprehensive education of the fundamentals of business. Founded in partnership with the UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Center for Media, Entertainment, & Sports, USEBA frequently assists and collaborates with its parent organization. Past events have featured professionals and UCLA Alumni from NBCUniversal, the Walt Disney Company, HBOMax, Apple TV+, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Chargers, ESPN, TikTok, and more.
