SONA is a charitable fashion organization aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of teens who are struggling with health-related challenges at Michigan State University. Our primary objective is to alleviate their concerns and worries by providing them with the right outfit for special occasions, such as prom and homecoming, without any financial burden or shopping-related stress. Our organization is open to all students at Michigan State University, and interested individuals can join us by attending our in-person meetings and becoming part of our mailing list. Membership is free, and members are expected to help us create awareness of upcoming donation drives, share posters on social media, and volunteer to meet with the children to deliver the donated items.SONA is run by a team of four elected members, comprising the president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Our leaders work together to plan upcoming events, meet with participating organizations and hospitals, manage financial responsibilities, and organize bi-monthly meetings. We host a variety of activities throughout the academic year, including making cards or performing acts of service for the children in the hospitals, spreading awareness to other organizations on campus, and helping to choose outfits that best fit and look good on the patients. We as a team are still working on integrating a website and social media presence, but we have attached a basic ground work for the content. We appreciate your interest in SONA and are excited to collaborate with you to achieve our shared objectives.
