Socializing
SOAR is MSU’s registered student organization for Spartans in recovery and their allies! We provide sober social events, service opportunities and peer support. We give students a safe place on campus on Tuesday nights to go without the worry about the pressure to drink or use any mind altering substances. Membership is open to Michigan State University and Lansing Community College students, potential students, and alumni committed to recovery from addictive disorders and their allies. Any individual interested in learning about or supporting the organization’s collegiate recovery efforts is welcome to attend weekly meetings and events. The CRC All Recovery MeetingMeets every Thursday from 7pm-8pm in the Collegiate Recovery Community Lounge, room 27B of the Student Services building.
