The purpose and goals of the Saint Thomas More Society are to promote the fundamental Judeo-Christian values of Faith and justice as an integral focus of legal concerns and careers; to foster a deepened sense of spiritual life, ethics, and social commitment among law students and lawyers; to unite in public expression of this vision of faith and justice in the legal community; to sponsor events consonant with the purposes which are of particular interest to the Catholic community as well as to those who share in the general vision of the society; and to provide educational and social opportunities to the membership.Under the patronage of Saint Thomas More, the society will endeavor to bear witness to the values of social concern, justice, and faith-filled integrity to which this Lord Chancellor and Saint – Thomas More, dedicated his life to the imitation of Christ.
