The purpose of MSULTBA is to promote a positive and accepting atmosphere at Michigan State University College of Law for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and queer students and their allies. The objective of MSULTBA is to educate the community-at-large about the issues and concerns specific to the LGBTQIA+ community and to help alleviate and eradicate homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and other affronts to the dignity of individual human beings. MSULTBA also seeks to promote strong ties between the organization and other student organizations through outreach and community-building activities, including reaching out to other racial minority, religious, and social student organizations to collaborate on bringing awareness and acceptance for all students at MSU College of Law.
