The Undergraduate Association of Minority Pre-Veterinary Students is a club that gives minority students the opportunity to network as well as build relationships with fellow undergraduate minority students, current DVM students, and veterinary professionals. The club also provides a safe space to speak about challenges minority students may face, and need to overcome, as they enter and continue a career as a person of color in the veterinary field. Finally, the club will come up with ideas and have discussions about how we can increase diversity and inclusion in the veterinary field.
