Academic
The purpose of this group is two-fold: to empower and network with our female STEM peers on campus, and to spread our empowerment and knowledge to girls younger than us. Members will attend normal meetings where we will have professional female guest speakers from various STEM backgrounds (PI, physician, engineer, etc). Every other meeting, members will gain resources and information on common issues that female STEM majors deal with on campus. The club also has an aspect of volunteerism, where members will regularly visit grade schools to educate younger girls on pursuing a career in science as a woman.
