Alpha Sigma Kappa (ASK) is a sorority dedicated to those pursuing a STEM degree. It is the mission of ASK to provide a supportive community for women in STEM academically, professionally, and socially. ASK is unique in the sense that it is not an organization dedicated towards a particular science but rather fosters an interdisciplinary environment within the sciences. Women of all backgrounds can come together and find common ground over a passion for science while helping each other thrive academically.As a chapter, ASK is hoping to grow over the years at BU; there are many opportunities for women to develop organizational and leadership skills that will be invaluable to them post-graduation. ASK is BU’s only women-in-STEM sorority and will foster collaboration between the sciences in a rapidly evolving discipline.
