Community Service & Volunteering
ACS On Campus is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer through a variety of events. In collaboration with the American Cancer Society, we promote awareness and education in the BU community about cancer-related topics, recognize and honor survivorship in Boston, fundraise for ACS so that the money can go towards patient care and research, and advocate to make cancer a top priority in legislation, on-campus, as well as at state and federal levels. Furthermore, we plan the annual Relay for Life event (hundreds of participants!) for a night of celebration, remembrance, and call to action in all aspects of cancer. Join us in the fight!
