Community Service & Volunteering
BostonHacks is a collection of students who work towards promoting the hackathon spirit within and outside of BU. Our members are involved in web-, mobile-, and hardware-based development, and come from many different colleges within BU. We cater to students of all skill levels and majors and foster an educational environment where members collaborate and help each other. Our main focus is organizing BU's most prominent annual hackathon in November, where students from all across the country can come to innovate and create projects for 24 hours. Outside the hackathon, we host workshops to help the BU public learn and develop new skills. Sometimes, these workshops will consist of free food and swag!
