Student Governance & Funding Boards
The mission of the Boston University College of Arts and Sciences Student Government (CAS StuGov) is to advocate for and represent the interests of the CAS student body. We seek to foster relationships within the CAS and Boston University communities by connecting students to resources in order to improve the quality of student life and encourage cross-discipline communication and relationships. In the BU community, CAS Student Government endeavors to be a connection point for all clubs, organizations, departments, and students that are found within the College of Arts and Sciences.As the largest school at BU, it makes our job as student leaders fun and diverse. Our main duties include: programming events, advocating for CAS student issues, improving transparency between administration & students, as well as providing resources for students to use and take part in. We have worked on issues ranging from Credit/No Credit to free menstrual products in all campus buildings. We have also organized large-scale campus events and traditions, such as the Comm Ave Carnival and '80s Roller Skating Night!
