Dance
Chankaar is Boston University’s premiere all-female bollywood fusion dance team. We combine a variety of different dance forms, such as bollywood, bhangra, hip-hop, contemporary, and classical forms. Through our choreography and performance, we present distinct South Asian culture to the Boston University community. As a nationally-recognized dance troupe, Chankaar competes in various cities: most recently, Pittsburgh, Madison, and Boston. By creating our sets and routines, we channel our energy, creativity, and talents to captivate our audience with our love for dance.
