Delta Gamma at Boston University. For Hope, For Strength, For Life. Delta Gamma Fraternity was founded in 1873 at the Lewis School for Girls by three young women: Anna Boyd, Mary Comfort, and Eva Webb. The greek letters Delta Gamma were chosen to represent our motto "Do Good." Doing Good remains central to our mission as a chapter, as we push ourselves to be the best women we can be. DG strives to foster high ideals of friendship among women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility, and to develop in them the best qualities of character. As a DG, you are exposed to resources and experiences that will empower you to live up to these ideals. Our chapter prioritizes service as a fundamental part of our college experience. We work with partners such as Perkins School for the Blind and the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) that align with our philanthropic mission.
