In 2010, the founder of GroupIRean came together to provide a venue for students at Boston University to explore international relations, social and political affairs of the relatively under-studied region, the Korean peninsula. The name GroupIRean indicates that we have gathered as a ‘group’, with passion in International Relations (‘IR’) of Korea. As a member of this organization, you will have the opportunity to explore the minor region of Korea in depth through open discussion sections, our think tank project (Information Center of Essence), through attending and hosting guest lectures on global diplomatic issues.
