Community Service & Volunteering
Hearts for the Homeless (H4H) serves one of the most vulnerable populations by providing education on multiple health risk factors, monitoring of blood pressure measurements, and donating health care and prevention resources to people experiencing homelessness in Boston. Through partnering with local shelters and community health clinics, H4H seeks to reduce the prevalence of hypertension among these individuals. Aside from serving the community, H4H educates its members on cardiovascular disease and its impact on the community through volunteer experience. This organization shapes our members into compassionate leaders and spreads awareness of cardiovascular disease to underprivileged communities in Boston.
