Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a historical Black Greek-letter fraternity founded on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana on January 5th 1911. It was founded by 10 astute men with the fundamental purpose of the fraternity being "honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor. Chi Chapter was chartered on the Boston University campus on February 15, 1924, by the significant six: Maceo Hubbard, Julian Evans, Courtney Cooley, Theodore Nathaniel D. Scott, J. Logan Jenkins, and John Hunter. Chi Chapter is the 22nd undergraduate chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the fifth undergraduate charter to be awarded in the then-Eastern Province (now Northeastern Province).
