The Puerto Rican Student Association welcomes every Boston University student interested in getting involved with the Puerto Rican culture. Our mission is to foster a sense of community among students at BU who grew up with Puerto Rican heritage, whether they are first, second, or third generation. Through events within the Boston University community and the greater Boston area, our members will strengthen and foster new ties with the Puerto Rican culture and traditions. This association will serve as a hub for members to find common ground with other students with similar experiences and/or upbringing. Through meetings and organized social events, members will learn what it means to be Puerto Rican on the island, in the United States, and in Boston University. This club strives to create a fun and welcoming environment by bringing a little piece of that Puerto Rican flavor to BU’s campus and the greater Boston area.
