Community Service & Volunteering
Our mission is to motivate Central Valley youth to pursue higher education, mentor youth to foster positive self-identities, and empower young student leaders in our communities. We provide a safe space for youth to come together and engage in interactive workshops, skill building activities, community service, and peer-to-peer mentoring with UCLA students. CVP offers workshops for high school students on selected weekends at our site located in Porterville, CA. The Central Valley Project also provides a space for Central Valley Bruins to build a community on campus and serve their communities through service and advocacy.
