The laws of physics govern everything in the universe, from the most distant stars and galaxies to our own bodies and brains. Learning about physics is one of the best ways to learn more about the world we live in and how it works, no matter your background in science or math. In Photon, we learn more about the physical world through activities and demonstrations, faculty talks, career building events, and field trips to local museums and laboratories. Most of all, we have fun exploring the laws of nature and learning about the universe. You do not have to be a physics major to join, as the diversity of our group is one of our greatest strengths.
