Publication & Media
Spoon University provides students with the chance to learn, share and talk about food via an online food publication, ultimately building a community around food. We aim to take advantage of Boston’s incredible food scene and share some of our experiences through photographs, articles and social media. Our members are always sharpening their writing, photography, marketing and social media skills; all valuable experience that can be placed on their resume. BU’s chapter of Spoon is one of many around the world! Spoon University has three main goals: (1) to empower students to create something meaningful and long-lasting on campus (2) to give students experience in food, journalism, online media and marketing (3) to create a strong community on campus focused on food. There is a $15 fee for each member, which is justified by the many benefits Spoon University provides. As a member, you have the chance to get exclusive access to food events and promotional giveaways and gain national recognition for your hard work and content that is published. We’ve worked with many different restaurants in Boston, whether it was an icing class with Magnolia or a promotional partnership with Jugos Supremo, our members are sure to experience and explore the food of Boston!
