SEAA is an organization providing the space for students to promote East African cultures and socio-political issues related to East Africa and the diaspora. East African countries (and their related ethnic groups and cultures) represented include: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Somaliland, Sudan, South Sudan Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
