The purpose of Umoja is to create a healthy environment, for black students and all individuals who are interested in black culture, which actively united students, staff and alumni by providing pertinent educational, social, and community outreach programming. We also seek to provide the community with honest, trustworthy and transparent leadership that is adaptive, relevant and receptive to the needs and desires of the general body. With this coming year UMOJA looks to become a resource and a safe space for the student body.
