Community Service & Volunteering
Veteran Assist (VA) is a student-run organization that aims to engage students in volunteer opportunities dedicated to helping veterans, with a focus on disabled and underserved veterans, in and around the Greater Boston community. We hope to create meaningful relationships with veterans by assisting them with fundamental needs, both physically and mentally, listening to their meaningful stories, enriching them with engaging activities, and providing them with educational knowledge and resources. Our goal is to educate students about the importance of aiding our veterans, teaching them how to help with the challenges they face after returning from service.
