Community Service & Volunteering
LSHP was established in 1978 in response to high rates of chronic disease in underrepresented communities with limited access to healthcare. Our mission is to increase access to healthcare services in medically underserved communities by organizing free Health Fairs and disseminating bilingual information and resources. We also hope to provide an enriching learning environment to our volunteers. Our sites are around LA, as well as in Tecate, Mexico.
