Community Service & Volunteering
Our group is dedicated to hosting an annual "Expanding Your Horizons" (EYH) conference at Berkeley. EYH is a non-profit organization that aims to promote female involvement in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
Each spring, we bring several hundred middle school girls to UC Berkeley's campus to participate in a day of hands-on science workshops with both graduate students and professionals. Although our conference is just one day, planning, fundraising, and publicity takes us all year, from the fall to the spring!
