MissionO-Tone is a co-ed East Asian-focus a cappella group. Our mission is to be a space for the celebration of East Asian culture and sharing of stories through song. Through our renditions of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean pop and traditional music, including fusion pieces with English- and other-language music, we hope to spread awareness of the diversity of East Asian and Asian-American culture and provide a creative outlet for those interested in East Asian music. We will support and actively participate in the East Asian community at Stanford and, to this end, will work closely with other East Asian organizations on campus and beyond.O-Tone's motto is "Many voices, One tone". We believe that our diversity is what makes us strong and we are committed to being a supportive and inclusive community for everyone regardless of their background or identities.
