MissionThe Society for International Affairs at Stanford, SIAS, is Stanford's premier organization for students involved in the international community and interested in questions of international relations and global citizenship.The purposes of this organization, which are non-political and non-sectarian, shall be:1. To stimulate interest in and foster discussion on international affairs among the students and community of Stanford University, and especially among the members of the Society,2. To act as Stanford's umbrella organization and forum for the promotion of an awareness, understanding and discussion of the important international issues of the day, and3. To inspire global citizenship.
