MissionIn all efforts and projects, Stanford ACLU seeks to:(1) Uphold the broader mission of the ACLU, which is to preserve and protect the liberties and privileges guaranteed to each individual by the Bill of Rights and expand the reach of the Constitution's guarantees.(2) Promote civil rights efforts on Stanford's campus within the scope of ACLU's mission through raising interest and awareness, monitoring civil liberties on campus, and taking action around school policies in support of other Stanford advocacy groups.(3) Provide a supportive community for like-minded students passionate about civil rights; cultivate interest in civil liberties and promote a pathway for careers in public service.
