MissionThe British and Irish Club will provide Stanford students and alumni with:- A forum to invite senior British and Irish business, political, and cultural leaders, in order to promote ties between Stanford and Britain/Ireland- Annual events in Britain/Ireland and Stanford which all Stanford students and alumni will be welcome, and will make for fantastic networking opportunities- A social community that will help British and Irish people settle in and make friends at Stanford, and share with the whole community big national events such as national holidays and elections- A community that will support people coming from/going to Britain and Ireland with practical issues such as visas, shipping bag services, and other localised matters- An active student community that will support the British Stanford alumni chapter- An active Stanford community that will support Irish alumni
