The Cantonese Initiative of Berkeley is an Registered Student Organization (RSO) that aims to celebrate the Cantonese language by promoting Cantonese language education and representing the rich culture and histories behind different Cantonese diasporic communities. Through raising awareness and advocating Cantonese language learning opportunities we hope to help anyone and everyone better connect with Cantonese language. We also prioritize promoting the stories and cultures of different Cantonese-speaking diasproic communities across campus.
