MissionThe Stanford Fly Fishing and Tying club was established to share the joy and benefits of fly fishing with the Stanford community. Our goal is to promote the sport through education, conservation, service, and involvement. Our mission as a club is threefold:1) To spread awareness of fly fishing not only as a sport, but as a form of relaxation, mindfulness, and art by hosting outings, workshops, and meetings to educate our community.2) Promote conservation by engaging with local ecologists and conservation groups to preserve California's pristine trout waters.3) Utilize the resources of Stanford and other angling clubs in the area to inspire a new generation of fly fishers through clinics and service projects.
