MissionThe Stanford German Student Association was founded in 1997 to provide a forum for Stanford affiliates with an interest in German language and culture. We bring together and strengthen the German and German-interested community at Stanford, including its extensive alumni network in Silicon Valley and Germany. Through social events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking evenings, the SGSA fosters the exchange of ideas between Silicon Valley and Germany, connects Stanford students to career paths in Germany, and promotes German cultural values within the Stanford community.
