MissionThe organization will bring together people from the Stanford community who have an interest in Romanian and Moldovan language and culture. Our members will include graduate and undergraduate students with origins in the region, as well as students who are learning Romanian language or have an academic, professional, or personal interest in Romania, Moldova, and broader Eastern Europe. The organization aims to organize several events a year for the Stanford community, ranging from social events celebrating Romanian and Moldovan traditional holidays, to Romanian New Wave film screenings, to roundtables with Stanford scholars of Eastern Europe.
