Mission1. Learn about Japanese Tea Practice: its history, philosophy, aesthetics, traditions, and forms2. Learn/teach official temae, specific forms for preparing and receiving tea3. There are innumerable forms and variations, but we aspire to learn and master the basic forms 4. that will allow us to offer to each other and to confidently host tea events for students outside the club.5. Learn and study Japanese culture and support intercultural dialogue
