MissionThe Stanford Spoken Word Collective is a student organization at Stanford University dedicated to cultivating exquisite emotion both within and without ourselves to generate explosive written and spoken poetry.The Collective functions both as a community and as the primary logistical and funding body for Stanford's Slam Poetry Team. We are a family of poets that performs at campus events, community programs, and ACUI's National College Poetry Slam. We also hold quarterly shows, bring artists to campus, and host writing workshops.
