MissionThe Stanford Undergraduate Research Association (SURA) was founded in 2014 to fulfill an unmet need at Stanford – a community for undergraduates to discuss, collaborate, and to learn more about research. The quality of research conducted by undergraduates at Stanford made clear that Stanford needed an organization that would be a vital resource for student researchers.SURA provides a forum that connects seniors and freshmen, professors and students, and Stanford undergraduates and their peers around the world. Offering research opportunities, mentorship relationships, workshops, research-oriented faculty dinners, and an annual undergraduate research symposium, SURA is the premier organization for student researchers at Stanford University.
